So I just got back f rom looking at this tank and it does have a few scratches in it as expected. There is no stand and the top acrylic part of the tank (not the tops) was cracked and rpaired in 2 spots. The owner (nice guy by the way) said that he wasn't sure how it cracked, possibly from an unlevel surface that it was placed on originally.
It comes with a 23gal sump, Inline Aquanetic Heater, pump, overflow, biomedia and all kinds of little odds and ends and well as an Oak canopy top that has light fixtures in it but doesn't come with bulbs...
The tank will need to be buffed out, inside and out... He is willing to come down on the price and I told him to kick it around a day or so on what his lowest acceptable price is, taking the fcts that i will have to build a stand, polish the tank inside and out, clean and prep it for fresh water and that it has the 2 repairs on the top section of the acrylic...
My question is this:
What do you guys would be an acceptable price to pay for this tank?
