125 gallon cycling

I am cycling my 125 gallon tank. It has two comets and two fantails in it. For filtration I bought three marineland emperor 400's. My question was..... how long should it take to cycle? should I be using more fish? and should I put the gravel in ASAP for the beneficial bacteria to collect? thanks
