125 gallon filration

would this work? tank stock (2) 4 in oscars 3in dempsey and 3in jag good size bio load Would an undergravel filter and (2) emperor 400's work or should I go with a canister?

Go with a canister filter. The bigger the better. I use a fx5 and a Fluval 405 on a 125gal.

I asked the same just with 2 gars and the answer was it will be OKAY but that's it. So in time a canister would help.

I use 2 XP3 canisters in mines. My old stock was 10" oscar, jaguar, convict, texas, firemouth, blue acara and a pleco. Bioload was heavy so I did 50% wc every week. Go with canisters, I would go with a couple Eheims if money comes easy or 1 Eheim 2260 and a Emperor 400 should do it.

You can go with both the emperor 400's AND a canister.

Due to cash flow I went with 3 emperor 400 It says each one is good for up 90 gallons and pumps 400 gph so thats 180 gallons and 1200 gph This should be sufficient right? I just got a water cow so it is the only new addition and the dempsey will stay in the other tank
