125 gallon filtration Q?

Currently im running a fx5 and 2 ac110s on my 125 sa/ca tank.

occupants
1gt
1 midas
1 ebjd
4 convicts
1 pleco

I just got a free 55 gallon and was thinking of taking 1 of the ac110s and putting it on the 55g.

would 1 fx5 and 1 ac110 be good enough for my 125? i perform weekly gravel vac/water changes..

I think it should be ok. Just make sure you leave plenty of bio media for your 125 or you will get a gloomy tank after you move the AC110.

yeah. you have plenty of filtration on your 125 for 8 fish!

Should be fine, that is still over 10 times gph being filtered.. But 1 ac110 is not that much for the 55.. IMO
