125 Gallon Fish Tank On Second Floor Will It Work?

I just got a 125 gallon fish tank for my pet bass. Is it possible to put it in my bedroom without it crashing through the floor to the garage underneath? Both my dad and I are worried about this factor. Any suggestions will be greatly aprreciated.

If there is a garage under the bed room you might be able to use a floor jack and a 4 X 4 to support the floor. You should be OK just putting it on a load bearing wall as long as the house isn't too old.

135's are usually the limit on floors before bracing is needed.

It depends on the structure of the building. Water weighs 8.8 pounds per gallon times 125 gallons, be careful.

ITHURTZ since you put it that way I have had 12 people from the football team in my bedroom watching me feed Larry my pet bass in the corner. All of them including me are about 275 and up.

Larry the bass was actually scared but then snapped out of it and ate 3 medium shiners in a blink of an eye.
