I have a 125 gallon filtered by a fluval 405 and (just ordered) a FX5. Pool filter sand and rocks are in the tank already, I will fill it and begin cycle when i get the new filter and the heater i ordered....

I am not sure what to stock it with, I would like to hear eveyones suggestions.... I am open to anything so let it rip.

unless something happens later I will more than likely not upgrade. If i ever ran across a great deal on a 240 but that is MAX for me.

i dont know much about puffers, but aro's would grow too large for your tank. you could go with some cichlids. i like the robertsoni cichlid. you could do that with some bichers on the bottom

Fahaka Puffer! I believe a 125 will hold it for life as well.

Just depends if you're ok with a species tank or want a community tank. Because you won't be able to put anything in with a fahaka.

They are intelligent and have personalities which is why I think it'd be a good choice.

I agree on the fahaka, my avitar pictures was mine when i lived in Japan, I am partial to them also, just wanted some other ideas as well.

haha, yea i posted a thread about filtration for my 135 and 120, hardly got any answers either! you could also put some frontosa in there. ever see them? have them and some synodontis cats. my buddys 150 is set up like that and its pretty sweet!
