Okay Everyone please tell me what you guys think of this setup And let me know if it is gonna be over stocked all the help will be great.

This is what I am gonna go with in my 125 (72Wide x 18 1/2 Wide x 23 3/8 high) Gallon tank

- 5 Spot Jewel Cichllid
- Jaguar Cichlid
- Red High Fin Wolf Fish Also Known as the Rainbow Wolf Fish
- Friedrichsthalli Cichlid Also know as the Yellow Jacket or Freddy
- Crenichichla Strigatus Also know as the Striped Pike Cichlid
- Salvini Cichlid

That is all of them and please tell me too what fish wont work out together that well. I have been told many things and I want to get all the info I can to help me decide what fish will work out best. So please help me

The jag itself will get pretty big for that tank plus they are really territorial.... Freddys are really aggresive... If i were you i would do the freddy and the salvini and add some dithers or do the jag by itself...

so the freddy and the salvini and what about the pike red wolf and 5 spot jewel together will that work
I wouldnt try it but I have never kept wolf fish all i hear is they are aggresive... and jewles i wouldnt add it.... the jewel will most likely get shreded.... remember its a hit and miss with aggro cichlids...

thanks for the info I just want to see what people say so i can get ideas do you have anyother fish in mind to do that are aggressive too that might be able to be kept together

if you start them all out as babies it might work. but with the jags and fred's being so closely related, the agression between the two of them is going to intensify as they grow, esp if they are both males. same goes for the salvini. But the wolf fish, pike cichlid, and jewel should ignore each other more and more over time.

Thanks good info to know I like the red wolf and the pike the most so I really want to go with them for sure but I want some other fish too. I understand it is a hit or miss with cichlids and most fish for the most part but I have the 125 gallon and i want to have it aggressive I only started out a yr ago fish keeping went from a 30 to a 55 then a 65 then a 125 now i have a 20 a 29 a 55 a 65 and now a 125

if the jag, fred, and sal dont all work out in the same tank together, you can always keep the fred in the 65 or 55 as a glass banger, and the salvini in the 30. either way good luck
