Good or overstocked?

125 with 2 fx 5's and an aquaclear 110

1- 8" chocolate cichlid
1- 6" threadfin acara
1- 8" tinfoil barb
2 - 4" electric blue acara
11 tiger barbs
5 small growing silver dollars

The Choclate will likely pick off the Tiger Barbs. An "Altus" Tinfoil Barb is fine in a 125 gal. They top out at about eight inches. A standard Tinfoil will eventually grow too big.
I keep two Chocolates & two Altus Tinfoils in a 120 long. Tankmates include Filamentosa Barbs, Denison Barbs & various Botia Loaches.
There are a few Tiger Barbs left. In recent months, the Chocolates have been killing them.

Barbonymus altus grows way bigger than 8 inches. Here are 2 that are around 12-13 inches long. My hands are 8 inches from tip of middle finger to the base of my palm.

Here's pics of my Altus Tinfoils. I've had them three years. The biggest one is eight inches, the other is20220807_182330.jpg a little smaller.
Your Tinfoils look somewhat different than mine.

Those were probably grown in a pond, either that or they are actually B. schwanenfeldii. This pic was taken at a LFS.

B. altus can still reach 10 inches though.
