I just recently emptied my tank a little bit and it seems aggression between my fish has gone up, more nipped fins, which is understandable but what i dont understand is what is on some of my fish.

Looks like the possibility of beginning fungus. Can't be sure with the pictures, but may want to start by adding salt if no live plants (shouldn't hurt). More specific pictures and discriptions would help.
Ill most deffinately post more pictures. The fish in the tank are two bichirs (delhezi+ palmas) 1 jack dempsey, 1 geophagus surinamensis, 1 small indo dat, and one other geo of decent size. And of course that salvini. I do frequent water changes, and since i saw the bumps i threw in parasitic medication with a small mix of melafix.
I raised temp, about to get more aquarium salt. I dont have plant gravel will live plants still be ok with my half sand half medium large gravel tank?
