125 gallon tank

I am selling my 125 gallon aquarium and was wondering what the price I should be selling it for. It is all glass, and has a black polished wooden stand. Also a 30 gallon sump.

Really depends on where you are. If there's a lot of big tanks available up there then around $250, if not you could probably get closer to $400.

If its really clean, looks almost new $250-$350 Otherwise its not worth much. I just turned down a free 125 and stand. He had tried to sell it for the last month and couldn't. At least in my area this is the wrong time to try to sell a tank. The weather is warm and everybody is outside in the sunshine, not indoors with their tanks.

Go by what you see for sale in your area, I know tanks in Canada are more expensive than the US.

That's what I was thinking. In Cali this isn't a big tank but in Canada they're not as common. Look in your area then decide.

Why turn down a FREE 125 If someone was going to give me a free tank over 55 gal I would take it and store it if nothing else.


either way 250 -300 sounds fair to me
