125 gallons stocking options? for life?

im gonna be picking up a new 125 gallon in the next week, im just wondering..
if i could have my fishes in there for life.. or is one gonna out grow the other
btw its a custom made tank : )

heres the list of my fishes

2x Veja
1x red devil
1x Green Terror
2x Blood parrots
1x tiger oscar
2x jack dempsey
1x jewel

do you guys think in the future? i could add a red terror.. or a Flower horn to that list? or should i... keep some in the 75 gal.. now and move some of the bigger growing ones into the 125 gal? =/
 
Really what I would do if I were you is move all the fish to the 125 if they are getting along in the 75, as this will be your best bet with aggression and such. Add tons of filtration as well.

Personally I wouldn't go with more than 4 big cichlids in the 125, but the problem with aggressors like the red devil is that sometimes they only work in a tank that is over crowded.

Move them all and if some get beat up by maybe one in particular move that one to the 75, and if all the smallers seem to be getting beat up move them to the 75 (with the big guys still in the 125).


I can;t tell you exactly what to do with your fish to blaance out the right aggression and bioload levels. But when I added my fish from my 75 to my 125 (oscar, severums, jag, and salvini) I added the peaceful big oscar first, then I added the rest. I still ended up getting rid of the salvini due to aggression, but my jag is as peaceful as they come so he doesn;t pose a problem. It all depends on the fish.

As juveniles they'll be ok. Maybe you could put all the fish in while small and thin out the group when they start to grow and get more aggressive as you find out who is compatible together. The best way is to have multiple tanks and move fish around when necessary. GL
 
Your list would be way to much as adults for a 25.
