I have a 125g tank with 6 fish in it. And they only stay on one side. wtf They have so much room to swim and they use about 45g out of the 125. There are plenty of hiding spots all around the tank cant understand why they hang out in the one side.

What kind of fish are they? Schooling?

do you have heaters at both ends???? if you dont have lots of circulation , especially on a 6' tank w/ just 1 heater on either side, that could be your problem.......I also ran 3 lrg canisters for filtration.

i used to run 2 stealth 250's on my 125Gal (one on either side about 1' in from the ends) and water temp was always perfect......

They have been in there for four to five months. I have 2 yellow labs one front, a ob and two other peacocks. My larges out of all of them is about 3.5" Oh and a 8" pleco. Two heaters each end. A xp3 using the jet head. And a emp 400. Water temp is the same both ends.

Would love to see Pic's?

they avoiding your pleco? if so you may think about switching him to a meat diet. he may be trying to snack on your fish. just a thought i had a problem like that switched them to meat now everyone is happy.

Nope The one peacock bugs him and the others could care less about him

try switching the side that the powerhead is on. could be less of a current on one side so fish could congregate there

get more fish?
