ok, well its been awhile since ive posted fish related material. im gettin a 125 in about 2 weeks and i wanna do a grow out tank. i was thinkin silver aro and maybe an rtc. i need some suggestions so i can start looking around. i know where im gettin the 125 i just need fish suggestions. i dont wanna go to aggresive. and speaking of aggresive, my RD is doin great ill try to get some new pics up tomorrow after i get back from the newport aquarium. and yes there will be pics. but thank in advanced.

I think you'd need more space for the rtc eventually, but the aro might do ok in there. I personally like throwing plants and lots of fish in big tanks but if you want a minimalist tank a 125 might be better for an emperor cichlid or something.
is this the type of growout tank for a larger tank (i.e so the fish grow bigger so dont get eaten by bigger fish in a bigger tank) or the sort where you buy fish, keep them for a while and take it back? if its the second one, i think its a bad idea. alot of fish shops wouldnt want to take in a 2 foot long rtc or a 2 foot silver arowana.
i dont buy fish to take them back. where did that even come from? but it doesnt matter. i found a hell of a deal on a 10 inch jag. so thats what im goin with.
