125 stocking help

Hey all I need some help with putting together a beautiful and impressive tank. I have a 125 and currently have a lot of small fish I don't want anymore so I am planning to take them to a LFS. I am keeping my Beast Nicaraguan cichlid. (9") but would like to put some big and beautiful cichlids with him. I would like a large male midas but wanted to run it by you guys. What would you guys suggest I put in there? Please help. It would be a great deal of help to have people that know fish to help.

I have had Nics in the past and even when they get aggressive they are just not made to hang with cichlids like Midas. But only you know the temperament of you fish. Well you know the deal.....try it and keep a close eye on them for the first few ours and over the first few days.....

What else should I toss in there? Cuz 2 cichlids could smell trouble ha.

How about some Thorichthys? Firemouths are the most common species, but there are some other even better looking species as well (Elliot's are my favorite). They get along well with nics. They aren't that big, but they are some of my favorite CAs

I was trying to have like a Lake Nicaraguan tank going.
