looking to upgrade tank for a baby Jardini which would be best? The wide is 48x24x25 or something around there and the 135 is 72x18x25. Which would better? thanks an advance fellas.

48x24x25 is better than the 72x18x25,and as Tim stated hope you could get something like 60x24x24

The 120-gal wide, 48x24x24, is better

Either tank would only last the fish up to about 12-14". Could you not get a 60x24x24" tank instead?

The difference between a 60x24x24 and 48x24x24 is a foot, but if the 48x24x24 would only last the fish up to about 12"-14", how long would the 60x24x24" tank last the fish?

WIDTH matters . . .

Exactly , I would recommend getting a 30" long by 6' wide tank:D

IMO it really wouldn't matter as either tank is going to eventually upgraded. Once the jardini is bigger then 18" I would look to getting it into a bigger tank.
