1250g indoor pond stocking suggestions?

A rtc is always awesome. If you want a constant swimmer a ID would be cool. Vulture cat..want do you like?

I thought about 2 or 3 IDs since they prefer swimming partners. The Vulture cats look pretty cool, where are they from?

Ive considered cats only but I just feel like ill want something more in the long run. would a jaguar cichlid be large enough to stay out of the TSN mouth in your opinion?

Arowana x2 maybe?

Pond is already built. Sitting in storage until this summer when I move. Figured I would go ahead and pick up some juvie stock so they are a decent size when the pond is filled.

Arowana may be a risk unless you put netting, cause they may jump out.

That is a definite concern. I had planned on just lowering the water but the pond is 12 x 4 x 3.5 so a screen would probably be a better option. I had an idea for a sliding screen. Could easily be removed for maintenance and what not.

Took a minute but a good read. i like how you did your filtration. I have something very similar. The stand for it looks almost identical. Will definitely borrow your in tank grow out idea in the future. Is there a bottom to it?

Ya it's a piece of plexiglas. That filtration isn't fancy but I read 0's across the board except nitrate which is 0-5ppm. Though for my next pond I will do it with a overflow type system

Gotcha. Yea I considered a weir type system but the way I am building it, the filtration will be 99% out of sight.

But back to the original question, stocking suggestions?
