I built a stand out of 2x4s for my 125G Top Fin aquarium that along with a 105G plywood sump will be an upgrade from my 40/37 setup. I finally got the tank on there, aquascaped, and now noticed the aquarium does not sit flat on the stand. All 4 corners are flush (which some people claim is all that matters) but the center of the long sides are 1/8" above the wood. I clamped the wood while screwing it together so it isn't gaps there, so at first I thought my measurements were wrong and the center braces were slightly shorter. However when I measured, everything seems to be even and it seems that it is the tank itself that is uneven. The aquarium was bought new about a year ago and stored empty on carpeted concrete.
Now I'm not sure where to go from here. If the aquarium is not flat, will it just slowly bend down and sit flush from the water pressure and be ok? I've read that Marineland claims gaps up to 1/8" are acceptable and have also read that Top Fin aquariums are made by Marineland but have seen no evidence as to why people think that. Where should I go from here?
