I made them for my 6' 150 gallon. Home depot sells acrylic sheets in different sizes. Held one up to the end of my tank, traced a line on the divider, cut, drilled a few holes for water flow, done. Suction cups from ebay for only a few dollars.

Ive done the same with acrylic but they are too flimsy and cost way too much for a piece of plastic imo. I also dont want my expensive fish to hurt themselfs or each other lol. But I went to home depot today and was sad to find out they dont cut glass anymore. I picked up a sheet of glass 16 x 20" to see if it would fit, even tho I need 17 x20. I could see it working if I get two pieces of plastic wherr I would attach suction cups that I can attach to the edges of the glass

Too flimsy, really? What type of fish are you dividing that you think that wont hold?

I guess I got the acrylic too thin. It flexes because I have it next to the filter intake and all the suction power flexes it. The glass I bout fit fine with the plastic that goes on these cheap glass tops. Ima go buy a couple more of the glass sheets I found and I jst need to get the suction cups u have. Thanks for letting me know where i can find em at
