Depends on how big the bass are but seeing that bass are messy eaters and leave a lot of waste I wouldn't say that's ideal......maybe a sump and 2 emperors. I would aim for around 10x turnover. When I had 3 bass in my 125g I was running a cfs 500(500gph) and a sump(800gph) and it worked fine for me.
I would just do the sump and skip the others. Any pump in the 1500-1800gph range will get you to around 10x and thats overkill for most setups. 6-7 is usually more than enough to be honest. Contact time with media is often overlooked for gph.
