I'm hoping to set up a 125g in my kitchen; I live in a tri-level house and there is probably 3-4 feet of space between the kitchen floor and the ground below. We currently have a 55g set up in the exact place that I want to put the 125 and haven't experienced any issues with it, but I know that the 125--once fully set up--will weight over twice what the 55 does.

The 55 currently sits on one of those fancy wrought iron stands, so I know the weight isn't that well distributed on those 4 tiny points of contact. The stand for the 125 will be wood and will distribute the weight MUCH more evenly (planning on putting a sheet or two of plywood across the bottom). Do you think the weight of the 125 will pose any problem/risk being where it will be? Should I get floor jacks or should it be alright?

I also have a 180 currently set up and running, but it is on the lowest level of the house and sits atop a slab of concrete. Putting the 125 in this room is not an option due to the room the other furnishings in the room take up :(
