I'm setting up a 125 gallon planted tank with pressurized co2 but need help deciding on a filter.

Right now I'm considering between the following options:

Option A: 2x Eheim 2217 - would this be enough? will there be enough flow?
Option B: 1x Eheim 2262 - this one has the best flow rate, but is it too strong?
Option C: 1x Eheim 2081

Anyone have experience with these? Which one is the best option for a planted tank my size?

EDIT: I'd also like to add that the fish in this tank will be large schools of tetras & shrimp.

^The issue with the FX5 is that I wouldn't be able to add an inline heater or an inline reactor with it's 1" tubing.

I agree on the Rummynose :)

I have two eheim 2215s on my tank, Dont get very much flow from them, had to add a power head. If you want power, and flow. Fx5 Will do that. Ehiems allways have less power because of the spray bar.

Im running 2x2217s on my 125 and i think the bio filtration is good, but i could use more flow. I am also running a Koralia 750 for movement.

I was thinking of doing the jet nozzle instead of the spraybar..

Maybe I can use an FX5 & add a 2217 to add more bio filtration while also attaching the inline heater + reactor to it. The FX5 would act as the mechanical filter and the main flow creator. What do you guys think? I actually already have an FX5, but it doesn't have to be used for this tank.

sounds liek a good idea

Just get the 2262. Flow is very high, but shouldn't be a problem if you put in a spray bar. And what's cool about that is that you can angle the spray bar to shoot down at where your CO2 is going up to force it back down into the tank.

Trust me, the 2262 is an incredible filter.
