Okay!

I posted a week ago trying to get some opinions on stock ideas, and this post comes with great news!

The last of my equpiment is arriving tomorrow:

Fluval FX5
Matrix bio-media
300w Heater
Marineland LED strip

I've already recieved my substrate and purchased all of my "plants" at michaels crafts (more than 50% off as of 1/3)

I've been steadily making progress making all of my decorations out of foam/drylok, and will have two large rock piles completed tomorrow.

I'm hoping to have water in my tank this weekend and should be good to go with some fish in a week or two!

I've been taking photographs all along the way, so I'll have a "diary" added to this thread in the coming days to show the progress made, and somewhat of a how-to with some of the home-made decor!

Got the back of the tank painted last night, what a difference between a painted tank and a store bought black background. Looks fantastic, but made me realize how much cleaning the inside of the tank needs.

The gentleman I sold the tank to, and subsiquently purchased it back from used it as a reef tank, so there is still some salt spray and coraline algae left over for me to clean. More work ahead!
