I too love your stock. I have a group of Chromides in a 90 gallon tank so I particularly like those. I was under the impression that the Orange Chromide will not do well if not kept in a Brackish tank. How long have you had them? My Greem Chromides are some of my favorite fish right now.
I got the Orange Chromides in from Jeff Rapps on September 7, 2011. So it has been over four months that they have been in this freshwater tank. I have two of them. They were around 1.5" when I got them from Jeff. They are very pretty fish and would make great additions to a peaceful community tank. They are not fussy eaters. I feed mine Hikari Cichlid Gold pellets and bloodworms. As you may know, they do not grow very large. My two do not let any of the bigger fish in the tank push them around. They hold their ground when push comes to shove. I've also noticed that they are very curious and daring fish. Here's a pic of one.
cebosound, thank you. It's still a tiny fella. Got a lot of growing to do. So far it's getting along well with its tankmates. We'll see what happens as it gets bigger.
