125g stock!

I'm moving soon and the only tanks I could bring with me are my 125 and 75. So I came up with a stock list for my 125..so..would this work now and in the long run?..planning on ordering from rapps..


2x 3' Vieja Syns
2X 3' Vieja Argentea
2x 3' Cuban Cichlid

If that is all you can do for life, then I think that many veija may be a little much far a 125. The 75 may work for a pair of Cubans. Fork the cash and get a bigger pair of argentea, that would be a nice combo.

More like 1x Syn, 1x argentea, and 1x cuban. THe Vieja also tend to be agressive toward other v's. You could add a couple firemouths, maybe a sev or green terror, to the three cichlids i suggested.

Thanks..i think im gonna do that just not with firemouths..maybe with my Topaz cichlids instead =D

You can max a 125 tank with 3 fish that grow over 13" IMO. I like simple tanks and I like to know that they are comfortable. I only have 4 fish biggest being 14" in my 240 so. I think 1x Argentea 1xSyn and the cuban will be good and nothing else really. You will see what I mean when you have a full grow Argent or Syn in your tank they are HUGE.
