125g tank setup

Hey guys, Im going to be getting a 125g tank next week, and i was just trying to ask for some advice since i havnt had a tank larger than 55. It comes with 700 gph pump, 400w heater and aprox 35 gallon filtering tank with charcoal. And the guy said much extras. got it all for 250$ Just wondering is the filtration hard to set up? I ve never used a filter like this, I mean if worse comes to worse i can just let it cycle for weeks, not to worried, i just want to get it all right. Just trying to get some tips, and pointers, maybe some good stocking fish carnivorous preferably...thanks guys!

I'm setting up a 125gal as well, i'm currently building the stand for it, but I plan to filter it with most likely a Eheim Canister pro 2 or maybe the pro 3 thermo, a aquaclear 110, and a UV sterilizer. I plan on getting a black arowana. I'm pretty sure the filter you got is a 35 gallon wet dry sump, try reading the different threads about setting up and running sumps.

nice, i just dont have much experience with big tanks and such so im trying to read and get info at the same time, i have a custom built stand, its perfect, im so pumped haha

Im doing the same thing. I bought a 150 last week and I will be doing my own stand and a wet/dry filter. I am on a big time budget so this will be a DIY everything.
