Im getting a 125g tank in two weeks and was wondering if i could put a red devil, jaguar, buttikoferi, Jd, and green terror in there without it being over stocked.

does that sound ok or overstocked?? I don't want to overstock so input would be helpful thanks :)

I wouldn't do it. Not only would I consider it overstocked but all those specific fish together in one 125g tank is like a ticking time bomb of aggression.

yah, thats kinda overstocked, RD probably wont work ,too aggressive, jag might tho iffy, butti is too agg, probably . maybe try oscar or sev or chocolate instead.jd and green terror usually dont get along but in125 it might work. good luck!

I'm not worried about them getting along because they grew up together. The rd is 10, jag 9, jd 8, butik 8''. I know they don't mix but i never had a problem i think because i bought them when they were only 1-3''.

it might work then.agg levels can change with tank change tho, dont add any fish that werent together in previous tank (exept MAYBE a big armored cat).

So the fish are already living together? What size tank are they in now, guess the 125g should be better. Is the 125g your getting a 4 foot or a 6 foot tank?

As far as bioload you may not be overstocked(now) but as far as space goes, it's just hit or miss. I kept a Midas, Jd, GT, freddy and a con in a 90 without any issues for awhile. Ironically, i didn't have aggression issues till I moved them to a bigger tank.

It might work, but if i was a betting man, at some point I'd bet the Butti is going to clear house.....

Best thing to do is try and be ready to make adjustments as necessary. Just because it works now doesn't mean it'll work in a month or year from now but every combo is different as is every fish. Best of luck!
