will a female tex, female rd, and a male pink convict be fine in here? all of them are between 6"-7". Is it enough space for them not to hurt each other?

For anyone to say that they will or won't be fine and not hurt each other would just be speculation. No one can say for sure. It's up to the individual level of aggression of each fish. I would say that the tank is not overstocked but only time will tell the rest. The fish all have the tools to hurt one another if they choose to. Typically, RD's don't mix well in community tanks. So, in speculation, I would say if you're going to have problems they'll come from the RD. GL with them.

I totally agree with balton777's argument.

Argue?!!? Who are you saying is arguing?! I don't ever argue with anyone and don't you forget it! :irked:

hahahaha j/k!!!
Sorry to derail but I couldn't help myself. I know I have a warped sense of humor sometimes.

I think you will be OK.
Females are usually less aggresive than males. Keyword thers is usually. I have seen some pretty mean ladies though!
I been pretty successful in keeping female RD with other cichlids. I have NEVER been able to keep adult males RD's with any other cichlids.

It boils down to what the others said, individual personalities.
I currently have a Male texas, female RD and female convicet in a 125g with 0 conflicts. The RD is the queen of the tank.

so far every one is just minding their own bussiness. the other two been there for a while. i was mainly concerned about adding the RD. ill just keep my eye on them. Oh yeah i forgot to mention that there is also a juvi tex in there. he's about 3" but there is plenty on cover for him.

in terms of bioload it should be ok, although in aggression it goes down to like the others said, it's up to individual fish
