125gal SA stock ideas?? help!

hey there, as probably a few people have seen my other posts about stocking the new 125 gal, its always the last changes that irk you the most!

heres my ideas, its a reg. 125 gal, 6x18"x22", and normal filtration,heating, etc. my aquascape is a nice artificial driftwood like piece, and a rock cave, with plants all around (fake), and a sand substurate.

heres what im wanting: a tiger oscar, 2 jack dempseys (could another be added?) a parrot fish, an a convict maybe.. just one convict though, and 2 severums. :nilly::nilly:

if it wont work, would taking the convict out do it? i was just curious on the convict since they're new to me,but dont have to be included if they dont work.

I'd eliminate the parrot but that is just because I think they are freaks. You'll need enough furniture in your tank to provide cover for the cichlid behavior. Fish will need to escape eachother.

I'd eliminate the convict and get a decent catfish to clean up after the oscar. Oscars are such messy eaters it helps to incorporate the proper janitors of the piscine world.

well well, went to the LFS and got 2 JD's, an oscar, and a blood parrot. when i got home and released them etc, everthing was great! the two JD's were swimming together, and the oscar was in the corner all quiet, and they came over and sort of "invited" him into the group, and the same for the parrot! keep in mind i got the JD's, and the bp around 2" and the oscar around 3". so everything is workin out so far very well, aside from the parrots weird behavior they always have when first introduced. but.. well see how it goes!:nilly::headbang2
