in new jersey? I wish. the biggest bass I've caught in new jersey was 6 lbs which is basically equal to a 10 pounder in Florida this lunker bass was caught in a small golfcourse pond in Florida

Where is the 12lb bass?
naples florida, stonebridge golf resort in a little pond on the side of a golf course, one bass I had on (in fact the bass that was nesting with this one i caught) was the biggest Bass i have ever seen, im estimating around 15lbs, and it took line out 30+ ft in 1.5 secs, jumped up and spit out the hook. Honestly my head could practically fit in its mouth

Great catches . You tell your brother he has some nerve. I have been using the best lures and have only caught 4 to 6 inch peacock bass for the longest time.

I might give a french fry a try .Someone here used cigarrette butt also so going to try both

No, I mean where are pics of the 12lb LMB? I see one that looks 6lbs tops but no where near 12.
believe it or not, that fish was 12lbs, not a good pic cause you cant see how big its belly is, it felt for sure as heavy as the 36" musky in my hands. But whatever weight you believe it is, you have to admit its a good catch on 2lb line and a 4ft pole. and if i could compare it to the carp (girth, length etc) you would see that it is obviously 10+.

This fish caught of the surf on a 7ft pole and 10lb line, I can reassure you is 10+ pounds:

Nice catches....

I read the thread to fast and was hoping to see a 12 lb. LMB inside a Muskie.
