12mm glass angle iron frame beast aquarium help wanted

hi all, im a bit of a newb here, looking for some help on a project, so here goes.

im looking at a tank build ( biggest ive ever considered doing) using 12mm (0,5inch) glass with a 50mmX4mm angle iron frame.

dimensions are 2,4mX800mmX700mm (LxHxW)

im look at putting 4 steel braces on top an 6 50mm glass braces on the bottom.
my worrys, glass wont be sufficient seeing that i want to keep 2 s. arowana.

hope someone may have some experience at pushing the 12mm a bit.

oh and if its possible to push the length would be awsome.

ps an overhead sump will be used for filtration along with canister and hang on side thing a ma bob. so i wont have any drilling to do and comprimising the glasses integrity
