I have been using the aqua tools aquarium building calulator to determine the cut list for a 321x152x85cm glass aqaurium using 15mm glass.
http://www.theaquatools.com/building-your-aquarium

I can not understand how the tank will go together using there demensions.

If the end panels are to sit on the base there height should be 83.5cm not 85cm as indicated using te calulator.
85cm end panels would mean the sides would be higher than the front and back panels.

Am I right??

I have attached a sketch using both demension to illustrate the problem.

Cheers,

Ramesh.

The demensions are 321x151x85 with a safety factor of 2.

I had the file as a scanned PDF but the file was accepted as valid so I took a pic.
I think the height for the side pannel on the left is correct (83.5cm).

Your drawing is correct. You have to subtract 3 cm - 30mm on your side panels for height and width. So both sides will be 148 x 83.5. and your front and back panel will be 321 x 83.5. This tank will be 865 gallons. and not 12 ft long closer to 10.5.

Thanks for you help because I thought the demensions were wrong.

I thought it would be good to have the end panels sitting on the base but have the front and back panels sitting against the bottom and sides as the demensions indicate in the drawing.

As for the front and back panel they are 321 x 151 not 321 x 83.5 as the tank is 12'x5'x24" LxWxH, so it should be a little over 1000g.
