Hi,
I've got the opportunity to get a 13 cm Maulana bi-colour male but he'd be going into a tank where most of the other peacocks are less than 10 cm. Is this asking for trouble? Its a 6x2x2 ft all male tank with yellow labs, electric blue haps, red fin kadango (currently the largest fish at about 10-12 cm but are far from dominant) and three other peacocks. The Maulana would get introduced with another six new male peacocks. Am I inviting disaster?

Cheers
Craig

About 7 to 8 cm. There's an electric blue, a white knight and two peacocks all about the same size.

I think you should be fine, just make sure the fish don't fit into the Maulanas mouth. If things go bad, you could get a breeder box to seperate him.

Or you could make your own breeder box. You could get a plastic bottle or small container and poke some holes in them.
