I'd like to install an outdoor pond that's roughly 130 gallons. I plan on keeping 2 sarasa comets and some regular comets. Nothing too expensive or elaborate. Any ideas on what kind of pump and filtration I will need? I plan on placing it in a 90 degree corner touching my house. I would like to have a small waterfall to help with aeration. I also need ideas on how to keep water from splashing on the house and ruining the wood...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh, if you could provide some pics of your pond to help me with some ideas, that would be awesome. Thanks again.

How about you post some pics of the area you would like to put the pond and I'd be happy to try and give some advice on the splashing issue.

Is the area covered? If it is, maybe you could just use an aquarium cannister filter. If not then I would go with a magdrive pump and an outdoor pond cannister filter.

make a backsplash with a rock formation cemented together or just a sheet of of the roofing insulation stuff, its black and comes on a roll, i cant remember the name of it but i use it at work everyday...lol.

I'll get some pictures tonight. The area is not covered, but I plan on putting a cover on it (a cover of sorts.) The cover will be a wooden structure with slats in which I plan on growing vines. So it's covered and it's not covered...
