I have a 6’L x 18”W x 24”H, I wanted some stocking ideas, it will definitely have 6-7 clown loaches which aren’t South American, 1 chocolate cichlid and 3 pictus catfish. What else could I have with them, geophagus, uaru, angels? Any suggestions?

Your suggestions are on point, I'd go for smaller, mildly aggressive SA cichlids. Guianacara gaeyi is a good one, smaller geophaus would work if you have sand, festivums would work. Something that you can add a group of 5 or so fish, would be cool. Keyholes, Cupido, bolivian rams. I would also add a school of tall-bodied tetras like Colombians.

I'd probably say pick either the pair or a group of other fish. 125 isn't really that much space to have a breeding pair of large cichlids like chocolates as well as other cichlids.

By the way, my suggestions are assuming the clown loaches are not huge. If they are, It's a much bigger bioload and I wouldn't add anything.

Yes the clown loaches are small, how long would I be able to keep a group of geophagus with my current stock and a group of columbian tetras

Depends on the geophagus, I'd say 5 Tapajos redheads would be do-able for life with a chocolate, the pictus, and 10 colombian tetras. The clowns will work too until they are large, like 8"+.
