Oregon, it's part of 'Murica!
Its a 60l x 19w x 29h flat-back hex, building the stand this weekend and will hopefully have it setup within 2 weeks.

1 Tiger Oscar
2 Blood Parrots
1 Bonsai Flowerhorn
2 Salvini
1 Vieja Synspilum

With a 5' footprint I would say you are going to have agression issues with that stock.

I personally would drop the FH and BPs.

I have kept the bps with the oscars since they were all little so they get along fine almost a year later. As for the bonsai flowerhorn even full grown it would be the same size or smaller than the bps so I don't see an aggression issue but I could be wrong.

I'm talking more about fish quantity rather than aggression.

My concern would be the flowerhorn as well. When small they do ok, but they grow fast and they can be quite mean. I would worry about the oscar, vieja, and salvini with the flowerhorn. With all of those together and a lot of filtering you would be ok in terms of water conditions for awhile - if all were fully grown you might be ok but no matter what I think fighting is more of a concern here. My flowerhorn is pretty calm but even he will take on the parrot every now and again and she's 4 inches bigger. He attacks anything that looks similar to him too.

I think eventually you will have aggression issues because of quantity but with these sorts of fish it is all guess work as two are never alike which makes planning a nightmare.
As for linking a small adult size to minimal FH aggression, you need to realise that adult size has squat to do with aggression. More with the damage they can inflict but any fish can stress another to death just by chasing. Just look at neets or convicts, small but feisty.
I would keep a close eye on it and be prepared to move like lightening if that FH should kick off.

I have kept convict I know that small doesn't mean not deadly, I am simply going off what I have heard from other FH keepers that the shorter bodied ones are less aggressive. I have other FH and know how aggressive they can be. Aside from 1 of the bp and the oscar, all the fish I have listed are in the same tank right now and have been for awhile with no aggression. I understand that as they get older things can change and they can snap. I would be more worried about the oscar than the FH because he will be king of the tank.

Everyone opinion will Very But as long as water parameters are good and aggression level isn't out of hand I would say as long as Its working out for the time being

Good point, a lot of people wouldn't do what I have done so as long as it keeps going ok then who are we to criticise.
