Hey everybody new here been in the hobby for a while now. But I had a few questions on stocking for this tank. So currently I have a large tiger Oscar, a sail fin pleco, and a medium sized male Dempsey. I also have a fire mouth and convict I want to rehome. Not exciting fish to me. But anyways I am hoping to add a shoal of 4 bala sharks? Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated I love their look more than silver dollars so I was hoping you all have some input on this idea. I perform heavy 60 to 70 percent water changes weekly and I have 2 aquaclear 110s and a sun sun canister rated for 100 gallons can’t remember which model.

I would say nothing else unless you can upgrade to a larger tank, add the other fish first, and only add the cichlids afterwards so the other fish are not seen as intruders.

In fact, you may want to either rehome the pleco or do what I suggested above. AqAdvisor warns that it will probably outgrow the tank space and cause territorial aggression, which rehoming or a larger tank would fix: https://aqadvisor.com/AqAdvisor.php?AquTankName=&AquListBoxTank=Choose&AquTankLength=183&AquTankDepth=46&AquTankHeight=61&AquListBoxFilter=Choose&AquTextFilterRate=N/A+&AquListBoxFilter2=Choose&AquTextFilterRate2=N/A+&AquFilterString=pleco&AquListBoxChooser=Sailfin+Pleco+(Pterygoplichthys+gibbiceps)&AquTextBoxQuantity=1&FormSubmit=Add+>&AquTextBoxRemoveQuantity=&AlreadySelected=200909300103:1:0:,200909300152:1:0:&FilterMode=Display+all+species&AqTempUnit=C&AqVolUnit=L&AqLengthUnit=cm&AqSortType=cname&FilterQuantity=2&AqJuvMode=&AqSpeciesWindowSize=short&AqSearchMode=simple

Good luck.

Welcome to Mfk.
No bala sharks in that tank. I would just keep it as is for now and wouldn’t add anything new. Definitely keep up with water changes to avoid problems down the road.

Because of the nature of cichlids, you don't really have any options to add anything even if you do rehome the pleco. As stated previously, if you want other fish with the 2 cichlids, the cichlids have to be added last to a tank where the other fish were already established.

Welcome aboard

If you get rid of the pleco, you may be able to replace it with a few silver dollars. I wouldn't do the balas, they will outgrow the tank eventually.
I agree that the oscar and jack dempsey will fill up a tank of that size by themselves, once full grown.
