I just bought a 135 gallon tank and wanted to know what my options were? My love of CA and SA cichlids gave me a few ideas.

I would like to have a Jaguar, GT and Festae into the tank, is this possible?

What other options do I have?
What kind of bottom feeders can I consider? (No Plecos) or is it better to do without bottom feeders?

The Jaguar is Territorial, but with that tank size, you should be good with having a GT in the 135 gallon. As for a Festae I have never owned one,so I am not so sure how well they will do with a Jaguar or GT.Don't even bother with a pleco, they produce more waste than actually clean. To warn you ahead though, that Jaguar will outgrow a GT,I had a Jaguar that was 2 inches and it grew to 8 inches in no time.

It is definitely possible, but no guarantee.

If the jag will allow a cat, you might try a 4 line pim, or a synodontis euptera/feather fin type cat. Both get large enough not to be eaten, but not too large for the 135g.

What are the dimensions of the tank?

^^^. If the Festae were female and you had a loisellei or Freddy instead of the jag, maybe. With large cichlids you just dont know. Introducing them all at the same time as juvis will probably increase chances of success.

What are the dimensions of the tank?

I THINK the footprint is a standard 125, but just slightly taller to be more of a display.
If I had to give a guess away from the tank, 6' x 18"

Yes to pleco. They dont clean up waste but they stop algae growth. I would say that the jaguar with the green terror would work as long as they are introduced around 3 inches but no guarantees cuz some jags cant stand tank mates and some will take their territory and hold it. I think with a tank that big the jaguar will probably just take a part of the tank and let the others have the rest. I like the catfish idea. I think 4 or five pictus cats would really make the tank active cuz they never stop moving. I had them with my jaguar and he didnt seem to mind and i really liked how much energy they gave to the tank.

Why not just a nice pair of Festae and a shoal of 5 - 6 clown loaches for added color and activity.
