What do you think would be the best set up for a 135 gallon freshwater?

let us know what you were thinking and we can elaborate on it.

I was wondering about what kind of Filtration system would be good

I'm a big fan of overfiltration. Rena XP3 (or your equivalent of choice), wet/dry, maybe another smaller canister or HOB... At least a pair of good canisters. A lot of it depends on fish choice, if you intend to plant it, etc.

a couple of xp3's would be good filtration or a wet/dry, depending in the space you have.

you could try one or two of the new FLUVAL FX5. they're supposed to be pretty good.
I personally would look into an Eheim wet/dry system or perhaps 3 Aqua Clear 500's it's really up to your preference on fish and bioload.

you should get a wet dry or 2 canisters and a H O B...
