135 tank mates

My 135 is done cycling ( hooray for seeded sumps). I was wondering if I move my pair of Gold Saums in there if I could have some tank mates. And if so what kind? I have an Ornate Bichir that will be going in it as well and that limits my options to larger sized fish. The ornate is only a little over 6" now and gets along fine with them in the 75.
 
No one wants to take at stab at this? Maybe a single con and a female JD?
 
I would do non-cichlid tankmates (silver $$$, catfish, big barbs)....my personal preference for that size tank would be 5 silver $$$'s and a featherfin cat with a striped raphael or other armored type cat
 
Would a catfish be ok with a Bichir? I don't want 1 trying to swallow the other. Tinfoils are a no go for me but are there other types of barbs that would work.

Absolutely. I have over 15 feet of polys with catfish. As long as one can't swallow the other you are fine. My polys sometimes bite each other but never go after anything they can't eat fairly easy.

I do like the look of the Raphael's. Are they a schooling fish or would 1 or 2 be ok?
