Whats up MFK folks, i posted some questions and a little background about my tank in the setup forum but wanted to start a thread so i could track the process. Just to give a little info, my tank is currently SW (draining all the SW as I type) but i'm wanting to make it FW. The tank is built into the wall with a 55g sump, T-5 lighting and a single overflow with 2" piping. The tank has a closed loop system plumbed into it with a 6-stage RO/DI and a auto top off sensor.

I would like to have a Clown knife(i had one in the past), 2 Oscars, a fire eel, a pleco(that i've had for 10yrs but it's only 6") and possibly a birchir or something. I would like to have a sandy bottom with driftwood and slate rock.

the tank has been drained of 98% of the water, i'm thinking of adding tap water and vinegar to clean all the algae and salt residue off the glass once i get all the live rock and sand out.

You already have a sick tank to work with, no matter what you do. I'm looking foreward to updates. You got any pics of the back? Filtration etc...?
