135g project on hold, picked up 80g

My plans to buy a135 gallon for my male dovii have taken a momentary backseat. However I was able to find an 80g for cheap. Which is better than the 50g he's in right now. Right now my dovii is around 10.5-11. How long do I have with this tank? Thanks
