i have a 135G thats in need of a new side,so i was thinking since i have to scrap it all down to fix it anyway i may as well change the dim.'s,it's 72x18x24 right now,i'm thinking of makeing it 72x24x18,does anybody see any problems with this idea, the glass is true 1/2" not 10mm so it should hold, there is no top brace on the tank but it's not hard to put one on so theres no problem there,

mainly the reason for this is so i can pick up a LONG LONG awaited dovi,or maby a umbee

There is no reason that you can't change to those dimensions. And you won't need a top brace because you will be shortening the height of it.
