ok so since I am getting a 135g tank in a couple week I thought id go crazy and make it marine!
it wont be my first so I have all my sump and overflow and what not sorted out but now comes the fun part
stocking
I want a few big fish and a few small fish so heres what I came up with
4 common clowns
3 bannerfish
2 firefish
1 regal tang
1 yellow tang
1 midas blenny
1 sixline wrasse

so what do you think? I realy want the banner fish so if you change it up I still want those guys

i would maybe only not get the common clowns and the 6 line.. i think they might get picked on..

that list sounds fine. one thing i have noticed from past experience is that firefish get intimidated by blennies sometimes, and will hide. Mine hid all day and never ate, eventually turning up dead, otherwise all those fish are peacefull in nature so there shouldnt be many issues. Assuming your getting the commonly availiable H. acuminatus bannerfish then you will not be able to keep coral. be sure to add the 3 banners at the same time. This means your tank will need to be well established prior to them being added. 6 months or longer.

if you can find (and differentiate) Heniochus diphreutes.. they do much better in schools and have better looking banners IMO

the black on their anal fin goes all the way to the tip of the fin, in H. acuminatus the black stops just short of the very tip of the fin
