i just got a 135g tank with two fluval 404's . I have four giant danios and 1 3" red oscar is this enough filtration while theyre small or should I add some more and if so, what?
Thanks Cory

Howdy,

I think you should be fine for now . The 404 is rated for 100 gal, the actual limit is probably somewhere lower. But since you have two hooked up, you should be all set. Make sure to have adequate biomedia (should make up about 2/3 of each filter volume). Position the intakes and outlests to create water movement throughout the tank.

Welcome to MFK!

We refer to ac500 as ac110 now Dont ask me why they change the model # its basically the same. These type of filter are known as HOB (hang on back) filter some fish supply site or store refer to them as power filter. The rule of the thumb is 20% per week water change even with enough filtration. In this hobby theres a saying. "There is no such thing is too much fitration." You should definitely fix that leak with new seals, teflon, or silicon.
