Lookin' good. :headbang2

Pre-filter going on top of the drip plate?

What's the return pump?

If you keep the bio-load lower it should handle it. You can always make a twin if you need more (that would make for great redundancy).

Keep up the good work.

I thought that was a crazy idea but then I gave it a try...and you can make a twin. Here's mine:

To increase the amount of media space, remove the inner container, add the pump and then pack it full of media. You can also make a cage for the pump with the egg crate so that the pump can be easily accessed. I'll take a pic of a drip system of mine to give you some food for thought.

How come one's prettier than the other? :D

This one is more of a spray bar because it was going to be pump driven (pumped from a wet sump), but the idea still will work. Just make the supply hose larger to accommodate the gravity feed. It is laid directly on top of the media. This system will need prefiltering or a layer of quilt batting placed under it.

This is the sump for my 250g. I designed it to hold as much media as possible. I also use scrubbies for maximum surface area.
