Well I was reading through the local IGA shopper here and saw and ad for a guy giving away a 14" Oscar with tank stand and gear. Well I gave him a call to see what he had and it was this huge fish stuffed in a 30 gallon tank. I needed the tank for a pirahna grow out and have the tank size to better that oscars life so I picked it up. To my suprise when I got there it was this monster Albino with just the sweetest orange sides and belly. The guy gave me a huge box of foods and filters and decor. The Oscar is hanging in a 55 gallon right now with a few small tank mates. I have to clean up the 100 gallon for him tonight. So what do you guys think? Is it a worthy score or what. Haha the only thing I am not looking forward to is the food bill. He has been fed only bloodworms and pellets since he was an 1" long the guy said.

I will try and get some pics up this week. The tank he is in now is heavily planted and rock decorated. I can get a much better pic when he makes it into the 100 gallon.
Well he is settling well, looks like he may end up in our 72 gallon tall. I have to clean it up as it is currently flowing salt water. But he doesn't seem to mind the 55 for now as it is a large step up from the 30 he was in. All his tankmates, whom probably feel more like cell mates will be all too happy to see him step into the other tank. HAha my newest dilema is a wife who isn't a fan at all of fish. Supposedly 7 fish tanks and a tarrantula terrarium are pushing the limits of her tolerance. Not that we don't have the room.
