I rely dont want to keep my armatus solo with my rays, so what do u think about throwing a 24'' Aro in with my 14" Armatus? im not sure what would happen. it would be in a 450gal with 3 motoros.

Try it and see. When my armatus was 4" he punked the hell out of my 12" silver and I believe he was ultimately the cause of the silver jumping out.
Should be alright in the 450. I had my 15" Armatus and 20+" Black Aro in a 360 and they were fine.
My Armatus is now 8.5'' it is growing 10 times faster than my Tat, which was double the size of my Armatus and now the Armatus has been in the 230 for a month and is now only 1/2'' shorter...WOW..WOW. It's cool now I can really see the differences between the 2 seeing they are the same size.The Armatus's tail is much bigger. My Armatus is living peacefully with my 24'' Black Aro and no problems at all. I know the agression factor must be different at the size yours is so do it over a weekend early Saturday morning and sit and watch, that's what I'd do. I hope it works out for you.

The tank is soooooo nice. The Armatus is going to do great in that tank. Post pics as soon as you can.
i don't think it could eat a fish allmost twice its size i've seen aros with big payara i'd say try it but i haven't seen a armatus with an aro but i would assume it could work
