Click to expand... i'm not sure about their growth rates but this guy's been with me for 4 years and i got him at about 3" but i have experienced that they grow very quickly in the pond (400 gal) comapared to those in tanks

Click to expand... thanks, i've been keeping an eye on them and so far no problems yet.. its actually just temporary anyway i just placed it in the tank to take some shots of it
