my buddy just bought a black shark from the lfs and he also got a armoured catfish its prolly 5 in.... there in a 75 gallon tank atm is there anything that you can do to... or after the fish gets settled in and is relieved of some stress will he calm down ideas and suggestions would be great... i told him its prolly just gonna have to go back to the lfs...

but wat dosnt really make sense to me is that it wont chase the angels or other small fish in the tank

Black Sharks are nasty and won't stop attacking or chasing other fish. They can also get up to 2 feet.

How wide is the tank? My thoughts are to take it back to the LFS because it sounds to me that it is too big for the tank.

Besides, I think they can be on the aggressive side and with limited space, it may bring out more aggression.

Yes as was said they will get 2 feet and are nasty. Just a matter of time before it attacks all the fish in that tank. And even when he settles in he will chase for the sport of it. Good way to cause an ick outbreak. I did have 1 in my 100 gallon with a vieja argentae both grew up together and the argentae and shark were about 15 inches but I could not introduce any other fish to that tank. You need to make a decision either shark or other fish. A 75 is kinda on the small side for the shark but doable.

he took it back already lolololol think hes planning on just finding some sevs now lol thanks for the help =]
