It will be around 125 gallons. I was thinking of a jardini but I have heard that they will get to big and aggressive. I was also thinking of a smaller speices of Pbass. Or maybe 8-10 4-6 inch cichlids. What would you put with it. i am also willing to grow baby fish out. Don't post anything that is super expensive to order online. i am willing to order fish online if they are not too expensive.

jack dempsey or jaguiar cichlid? some sort of bichir?
Bichirs are slow growers so unless i find a big one I will not get any. I have a baby JD that I was going to possibly put in my 40 so maybe I could keep the JD until it get 4-5 inches then throw it in with my O.

jd should work , but I would do something like a sev then add 2-4 con or firemouth .....

I have had sucess with Fire Mouths, Convicts, and JD... BUT the tank being only 125g limits what you can fit. Plus if your O can fit it in his mouth he might be tempted to "sample" his tankmates.
